Xiaomi held one of the biggest event in its history. It launched Xiaomi 13 series along with MIUI 14. Moreover, the company also unveiled Xiaomi Watch S2 and Xiaomi Buds 4. They are serious to be a great competitor against Apple's and Samsung's smartwatches and buds.
Xiaomi Watch S2 specifications, features and price
The circular dials of the Xiaomi Watch S2 measure 42mm and 46mm, respectively. On the right side, it has two physical buttons that are oblong. The smartwatch has a sapphire glass and a metal middle frame made of stainless steel. The 42mm model has a screen that is 1.32 inches wide, while the 46mm model has a screen that is 1.43 inches wide. The resolution of the AMOLED panels on both is 466 x 466 pixels. The wearable device can withstand up to 5 meters of water.
Heart rate and SpO2 sensor are included in the Xiaomi Watch S2 for health and fitness experience. It comes with a body composition measurement that can measure things like the percentage of fat in the body, skeletal muscle mass, and protein volume, among other things. Skin temperature can also be measured by the smartwatch. Women's menstrual cycle monitor, sleep and stress tracker, and breathing exercises are also included in the wearable device. More than 100 sports modes are supported.
For Bluetooth calling, the Xiaomi Watch S2 has a built-in microphone and speaker. A safety tracking feature also sends assistance to the user's pre-set contacts. Xiaomi Buds 4 offers a graphene-dual magnetic dynamic driver. It has a transparency mode, 360-degree spatial audio, and intelligent active noise cancellation. In addition, the audio device supports LHDC 5.0 for CD-level sound quality and Hi-Res audio wireless certification. Besides this, there are three built-in microphones for clear calls amid harsh conditions and noise.
The case of Xiaomi Buds 4 has 480mAh battery and each earbud is backed by a 30mAh cell. It has a playback time of 6 hours and it extends to 30 hours with the case. The earbuds is able to connect two devices at the same time.
As to price, the Xiaomi Buds 4 costs around $100. It is available in the colors Field Green, Salt Lake White, and Moon Shadow. The earbuds is available in the China right now.
