Sony PlayStation 6 launch date tipped via official documents
PlayStation 6 is reported to launch in 2028 according to official documents.
The leading name in the console world, Sony, might be in great works for developing new PlayStation 6. The Sony introduced PlayStation 5 two years ago, however, gamers now eye up the upcoming PlayStation. However, they might wait for a quite long time for the new console. According to new official documents from Sony, PlayStation 6 might launch in 2028.

Sony had great success with the PlayStation 5 series despite logistics and stock problems. Reaching high sale rates, PlayStation 5 had everyone smile due to advanced technologies that it offers. Sony also previously stated that they would comply with the 7-year cycle to release a new console.

On the other hand, the company has already started working on the PlayStation 6. Chip maker AMD has started looking for engineers for the team that produces chips for Xbox and PlayStation.
Moreover, in a document published as a part of the acquistion of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft, it was seen that the new PlayStation 6 console will be released in 2027 at the earliest. However, when we think of the 7-year cycle, it is possible that new console from Sony would be released in 2028.
