OnePlus introduced a new earbuds along with its new flagship OnePlus 11 smartphone. Introduced as OnePlus Buds Pro 2, the new earbuds features Dolby Atmos spatial sound and Dynaudio support.
OnePlus Buds Pro 2 features and specifications
OnePlus Buds Pro 2 is the successor OnePlus Buds Pro introduced last year. The Buds Pro 2 features 11 mm dynamic drivers. Thanks to the active noise canceling feature, it is possible to reduce the external sound by 48 dBs. Each buds has three microphones for noise canceling.
Buds Pro 2 supports AAC, SBC and LC3 audio codecs. Buds Pro 2, which includes a special mode that reduces latency for games, has dual connection and fast switching support for new Oppo and OnePlus devices.
In addition, Hi-Res Audio Wireless supporting earbuds supports LHDC 5.0 audio codec and 360° spatial audio feature. It also offers up to 54ms low latency mode for the better gaming experience.
With the active noise canceling feature turned off, the Buds Pro 2 offers a 39-hour battery life with its charging case. If ANC enabled it can function for 6 hours. It is possible to charge the charging case via the USB-C port or wirelessly.
OnePlus Buds Pro 2 price and availability
The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will be available in black and green color options for 899 yuan (approximately $130) in China. It will also launch in global markets on the February 7.
