NVIDIA RTX 4060 Ti to change route of mid-range GPU market
The mid-range Ada Lovelace GPU NVIDIA RTX 4060 Ti has surfaced with its key specifications.
While the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is expected during the very first days of 2023, the lower version is already making headlines. First specifications of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti suggest a rather interesting mid-range model. NVIDIA is also reportedly preparing to roll out the rest of the series to make the power of Ada Lovelace more accessible.
NVIDIA RTX 4060 Ti key specifications unveiled
The often well-informed tipster puts forward initial specifications of NVIDIA RTX 4060 Ti. We learn that NVIDIA's mid-range graphics card will use an AD106 chip made up of 4352 processing units, with 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM on a 128-bit bus at 2250MHz (288 GB/s bandwidth).
Moreover, the upcoming GPU is reported to have TDP of 220W. The next-gen 12HPWR power connector would once again be used, which seems to indicate that NVIDIA intends to use it on the entire RTX 40 series.
Still, depending on the operating frequencies, according to our estimates, we would be facing a model half as fast as the GeForce RTX 4080, which would place it between the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti and RTX 3080. We look forward to it now to discover the official announcements that NVIDIA will make during CES, which will be held in Las Vegas from January 5 to 8, 2023.
