Elon Musk has reportedly founded a new artificial intelligence company named X.AI, which is expected to compete with OpenAI, according to recent reports.
Nevada (WSJ) - According to a report by The Wall Street Journal on Friday, Elon Musk has founded a new artificial intelligence company called X.AI. The company is incorporated in Nevada, and Musk is currently the only listed director.

Jared Birchall, who serves as the director of Musk's family office, is also listed as the company's secretary. The report stated that the filing for the new company was made in the previous month.
Earlier today, the Financial Times published an article reporting that Elon Musk is in the process of creating a new artificial intelligence company. The report suggests that Musk is actively recruiting a team of AI researchers and engineers, including those currently employed at top AI companies like DeepMind, which is owned by Alphabet.
As per the Financial Times, Elon Musk has reportedly discussed with investors in SpaceX and Tesla about providing financial support for his new AI startup. The report further stated that a source with first-hand information about the discussions mentioned that "a bunch of people" are investing in the venture, and they are excited about it.
According to a recent report on Tuesday, Elon Musk's new artificial intelligence project has acquired approximately 10,000 graphics processing units (GPUs). These types of GPUs are often utilized by technology companies to manage the computational demands of advanced AI technology.
