While the standard model of the Pad 6 series was launched globally, the Pro and Max variants remained exclusive to China. However, recent developments indicate a change in strategy, as reports suggest that the Pad 7 Pro, along with the standard model, may also be released in global markets.
A report by GSMChina has brought attention to the internal HyperOS build for the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro, marking its first sighting. The presence of a global build of HyperOS hints at the possibility of the Pad 7 Pro being released worldwide. Details about the specifications of the device are yet to be disclosed.

The tablet is also expected to cater to audiophiles with its quad-speaker setup and to run on HyperOS 14 based on Android 14.
Xiaomi is planning a launch event in April 2024, where it is expected to unveil the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro tablets are also anticipated to make their debut at this event, marking a significant expansion in Xiaomi's tablet offerings.
