Xiaomi, the well-known tech giant, is gearing up for an exciting product launch. One of the showstoppers is the Mix Fold 3. This foldable smartphone marks Xiaomi's dedication to achieving thinness without compromising on design and durability. Compared to its predecessor, Mix Fold 2, which measured 11mm thick and weighed 262 grams, the Mix Fold 3 has surpassed expectations. It boasts an unfolded thickness of just 4.93mm and 9.8mm when folded. This is impressively close to the Honor Magic V2, another thin foldable in the market. The Mix Fold 3’s svelte profile can be attributed to its advanced hinge mechanism. The hinge comprises a fusion of high-strength steel and durable carbon ceramic. The upgraded 3-stage connecting rod mechanism, consisting of 14 moving parts and 198 components, signifies an improvement over the Mix Fold 2’s hinge design.

Simultaneously, Xiaomi is also set to unveil the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max, a grand 14-inch tablet. This tablet stands out with its flat metal design and camera setup resembling that of the Xiaomi 13 series. The expansive 14-inch display is anticipated to feature a 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, making it a prime choice for those opting for alternatives to the Samsung's Galaxy Tab S Ultra series. Powering this tablet is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, known for its commendable graphics capabilities, suggesting that gaming might be one of its strong suits. Furthermore, the tablet is equipped with an eight-speaker audio system ensuring a superior audio experience.

Powering the Pad 6 Max is a formidable 10,000mAh battery, rumored to support 67W fast charging. Ensuring battery optimization is the Surge G1 battery management chip. Given its powerful specs, heat management is crucial. The tablet incorporates a vast heat dissipation system to prevent thermal throttling, especially during intensive tasks. One of the tablet's functional add-ons is a detachable keyboard, transforming it into a makeshift laptop, complete with a trackpad. A stylus with a "Focus Button" that doubles as a virtual laser pointer is also part of the package.

In the camera department, while exact details remain undisclosed, rumors suggest the device will boast dual sensors on both the front and back. Expected configurations include a 50MP primary rear camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor, and a 30MP primary front camera supplemented by a 3D ToF sensor. Other notable features include a split-screen mode allowing the use of four apps simultaneously, WPS Office PC for Pad integration to facilitate office tasks, and the expected memory configuration going up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
