The Redmi Pad SE boasts an expansive 11-inch FHD+ 90 Hz LCD display with a peak brightness of 400 nits. Powered by a Snapdragon 680 chipset, which also featured in last year's Redmi Note 11, the tablet delivers a satisfactory level of performance. With the option to equip the Redmi Pad SE with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of storage, the device ensures ample space for multimedia and productivity needs.

However, Xiaomi's decision to opt for eMMC storage instead of the more advanced UFS storage might raise eyebrows, reflecting a cost-cutting measure. The tablet features an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera for casual photography. Sporting an 8000 mAh battery, the Redmi Pad SE promises extended battery life, although its charging capabilities are limited to 10 W, which some might find underwhelming.

Among the tablet's other features are MIUI Pad 14 based on Android 13, Bluetooth 5.0, quad speakers, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The aggressive pricing of the Redmi Pad SE offers perspective, with the 4/128GB model starting at €199, the 6/128GB variant at €229, and the 8/128GB version at €249. Lavender Purple, Graphite Gray, and Mint Green color options cater to diverse preferences, making the Redmi Pad SE an enticing option for those seeking affordability without compromising essential tablet functionality.
