Among them was the Tab Extreme, a flagship Android tablet that caught the attention of tech enthusiasts worldwide. Following its successful launch in China as the Legion Y900 in March, Lenovo has now expanded the tablet's availability to the global market, starting with the United Kingdom and the United States. Initially priced at €1,299 in Europe, the Lenovo Tab Extreme has undergone a pricing adjustment for the UK and US markets. In the UK, the premium tablet is available for £999, while in the US, it can be purchased for $949.99.
It's worth noting that the keyboard accessory is not included at this price point, but buyers will receive a Folio Case and a Lenovo Pen 3 as part of the package. This revised pricing strategy aims to make the Tab Extreme more accessible to potential buyers in these regions.
Lenovo Tab Extreme specs
The Lenovo Tab Extreme boasts a massive 14.5-inch OLED display with an impressive resolution of 3000 x 1876 pixels. With a 16:10 aspect ratio, the screen supports 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and a 120Hz refresh rate. Driving its performance is the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 flagship chip, with options for 12GB LPDDR5X memory and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The tablet houses a substantial 12300mAh battery and includes two USB-C ports, with one supporting DP output and the other supporting DP input.
Weighing 740 grams and measuring 5.85 mm thick, Lenovo Tab Extreme incorporates eight JBL speakers, Dolby Atmos support, and four microphones. The tablet features a 13MP front camera and a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 13MP lens and a 5MP sensor. Running on Android 13 out-of-the-box, Lenovo promises three OS upgrades for the tablet, extending its updates until Android 16. Additionally, the company pledges up to four years of security updates.
