The Chinese tech firm Realme introduced the eagerly awaited new tablet model to the market. So, what are the features of this tablet?
Realme has recently launched the Realme Pad 2 tablet in India, along with the Realme C53 smartphone. This is the fourth tablet from the brand, following the Realme Pad, Realme Pad Mini, and Realme Pad X, and it stands as an improved version of its predecessor, the Realme Pad.
The newly launched Realme Pad 2 sports an enhanced design and better specifications compared to the original. It features an 11.5-inch LCD screen that offers a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels, and it can reach up to 450 nits peak brightness level with an 85.2% screen-to-body ratio. The display supports a flexible adaptive refresh rate (40Hz/60Hz/120Hz) and DC dimming for a smooth visual experience.
The tablet's design is distinct with a flat frame and minor curves at the corners. The back houses an 8MP camera located on a round pad in the top left corner, and the front side features another 8MP camera on the right bezel. The Realme Pad 2 operates on a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset and comes with Realme UI 4.0 for Pad, based on Android 13. This interface offers practical features such as Multi-screen Collaboration, split screen, dual windows, flexible windows, smart sidebar, and Google Kids Space.

This tablet also includes Dolby Atmos-supported quad speakers, and an 8,360mAh battery all contained within a slim body that measures just 7.2mm thick. Plus, it supports a 33W wired charging option.
As for the pricing in India, the Realme Pad 2 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage costs ₹19,999 ($245), and the higher model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is available for ₹22,999 ($280). The tablet comes in Inspiration Green and Imagination Grey colors and will be available from 12 PM IST on August 1 on the Realme website, Flipkart, and at physical retail stores.
