The live image of Redmi Pad 2 surfaced
A new image of the tablet model Pad 2, developed by Redmi, has come into view once again.
Redmi is apparently preparing for the release of its second-generation tablet, the Redmi Pad 2. This device was initially discovered during the 3C certification process early in the month and has now received approval from Safety Korea, according to a report from TheTechOutlook. A live image of the device has emerged thanks to this recent certification.
In the Safety Korea database, the tablet is listed under the model number 23073RPBFL. The image reveals the device's layout when held in landscape orientation, with the front camera positioned on the top bezel and the power button situated on the left edge.

Judging from the picture, the design of the Redmi Pad 2 may closely mirror that of its predecessor, the Redmi Pad. However, there could be alterations to the design of the device's back panel. The image also suggests the tablet's dimensions are approximately 10.5 x 7 inches. Although the tablet has received TUV certification, no additional information about the device has been disclosed.
Rumors suggest that the Redmi Pad 2, which was approved by the FCC certification platform last month, will be available in several variants: 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. It's also anticipated that the tablet will run on MIUI 14, which is expected to be based on Android 13.
Additional reports suggest that the Redmi Pad might come with a 10.x-inch IPS LCD display that provides a 2K resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It's expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset and LPDDR4x RAM. An 8,000mAh battery that could support 22.5W fast charging is anticipated to be its power source. It's also expected to feature an 8-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera.
The Redmi Pad 2 is expected to be released in numerous markets. There are speculations that it may be launched together with the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max tablet, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 foldable phone, and the Redmi K60 Ultra flagship phone in China in August.
