Recent information leaks suggest that Samsung is set to maintain its consistent 45W fast charging tradition with the forthcoming Galaxy Tab S9 series. Despite the trend among other smartphone manufacturers towards higher charging speeds, Samsung seems committed to its dependable 45W fast charging solution.
Certifications disclosed by TUV Rheinland, a respected testing and certification company, have confirmed the existence of two models within the Galaxy Tab S9 range. Both the Galaxy Tab S9+ and the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, identifiable by their specific model numbers, have received certification for their fast charging safety. These tablets are predicted to support 45W fast charging, keeping in step with their predecessors.
Notably, Samsung's recent approach has been to omit chargers from its new device releases. This suggests that while the standard Galaxy Tab S9 is yet to receive its certification, it's probable that it will also support 45W fast charging, in line with last year's Galaxy Tab S8. Samsung's decision to forego including chargers is consistent with its continued commitment to environmental sustainability.

Leaked visual renders hint at a design for the Galaxy Tab S9 series that closely mirrors the preceding Galaxy Tab S8 range. These premium tablets are believed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy processor, delivering robust performance capabilities. The series is expected to offer generous memory options, with variations boasting either 8GB or 12GB of RAM, and substantial storage options ranging from 128GB up to 512GB. The tablets will also be equipped with a magnetic S Pen stylus and feature an OLED display with a variable 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring a fluid user interface. For audio aficionados, a quad-speaker setup will further boost the devices' multimedia prowess.
Samsung is anticipated to announce the Galaxy Tab S9 series in tandem with the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5, likely around July 26th later this year.
