Samsung is currently gearing up for its imminent Galaxy Unpacked event, rumored to take place in late July. This highly awaited event is believed to reveal several innovative products from the tech giant, including the eagerly anticipated Galaxy Fold 5, Z Flip 5, Tab S9 series, and Watch 6 series. While earlier leaks offering a sneak peek of the Galaxy Tab S9 tablets were quickly pulled upon Samsung's request, a fresh leak has emerged shedding light on the devices' display specifications.

Twitter denizen Ahmed Qwaider has unveiled substantial modifications concerning the Galaxy Tab S9 range. Ahmed's revelations suggest that Samsung has made a strategic shift in display technology for the upcoming Galaxy Tab S9 series, transitioning from the LCD and Super AMOLED panels employed in the Galaxy Tab S8 series to Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays. This progression to Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays should yield superior contrast ratios and heightened HDR functionality compared to the former LCD and Super AMOLED screens.

Despite this display enhancement, the Galaxy Tab S9 series is set to maintain the 120 Hz refresh rates consistent with their predecessors. The leak also hints at various tablet sizes within the lineup, including an 11-inch display for the Galaxy Tab S9, a 12.4-inch display for the Galaxy Tab S9 Plus, and an extensive 14.6-inch display for the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra.

Recent leaks also propose a significant feature for the upcoming Galaxy Tab S9 series: an augmented battery capacity for the baseline model. The Galaxy Tab S9 is rumored to boast a battery capacity of 8,400 mAh, a slight increase from the 8,000 mAh seen in its forerunner, the Galaxy Tab S8. Conversely, the Galaxy Tab S9 Plus and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra are expected to sustain their existing battery capacities of 10,900 mAh and 11,200 mAh, respectively.
