The new tablet entry comes with a Dimensity 9000 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and it competes in the premium tablet market. It also has a distinctive design, so you'll never confuse it with a slate from another manufacturer. The OnePlus Pad has an odd 7:5 aspect ratio display up front that falls between a 3:2 and a 4:3 ratio. It has a variable refresh rate that can reach 144Hz and is an 11.61-inch 2800x2000px IPS LCD.
The screen has a strong 1400:1 contrast ratio and a 500 nit brightness. According to OnePlus, the small bezels enable an 88.14% screen-to-body ratio. There is a 13MP 4K video-capable camera in the rear. On the front, there is an 8MP 1080p camera as well.
The OnePlus Pad boasts four speakers with Dolby Atmos compatibility, one in each corner of the tablet. Dolby Vision is supported by the display. The OnePlus Pad has a 9,510mAh battery inside, which provides 14 and a half hours of video streaming time and one month of standby time. OnePlus claims that a full charge takes 80 minutes and that it recharges at 67W SuperVOOC rates. OnePlus allows smooth switching between the Pad and OnePlus smartphones, including the capability for the tablet to access the internet via the phone's network connection.
