A significant figure in the tech world, Lenovo, officially introduces its new gaming tablet for sale.
At the BW Expo, Lenovo presented its newest gaming tablet, the Legion Y700 (2023). With a price tag of 2399 yuan ($333), the tablet's notable features make it a strong contender in the gaming tablet market.
The Legion Y700 (2023) showcases an 8.8-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a pixel density of 343 PPI. It supports a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and a peak brightness of 500 nits, all displayed at a 144Hz refresh rate.
The tablet's powerful performance is attributable to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, complemented with LPDDR5X memory. The impressive performance of the Legion Y700 (2023) is reflected in its AnTuTu benchmark score of 1.39 million points. The device is available in 12GB and 16GB RAM variants, offering 256GB and 512GB internal storage options. The tablet comes with Android 13 pre-installed, featuring ZUi 15.0 overlay. Additionally, it sports a 13MP dual rear camera setup with an LED flash and an 8MP front camera designed for selfies.

Lenovo has prioritized thermal management for prolonged gaming sessions in the Legion Y700 (2023). The tablet has been fitted with an advanced cooling system and a metal back cover, ensuring optimal performance during intensive use.
Despite its packed feature set, the Legion Y700 (2023) weighs only 348g and measures 7.6mm in thickness, lighter than its predecessor. The all-metal build, complete with a CNC-processed middle frame, ensures a textured and comfortable grip, ideal for long gaming sessions.
On the power side, the Legion Y700 (2023) houses a 6550mAh battery and supports 45W Super Flash Charging. Uniquely, the tablet features dual USB Type-C ports, allowing for simultaneous charging and headphone use. It also includes bypass charging, which serves to protect the battery and improve performance.
The Legion Y700 (2023) is available in Grey and Blue colors. Despite the tablet's robust features, Lenovo has maintained competitive pricing. During the pre-sale period, customers can enjoy a 100 yuan ($13) discount on all variants. The pricing for the available options are as follows: 12GB RAM + 256GB storage at 2399 yuan ($333), 12GB RAM + 512GB storage at 2599 yuan ($361), and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage at 2799 yuan ($389).
