Aiming to increase its share in the tablet world, Lenovo relies on its soon-to-be-introduced new model, Tab P12.
After introducing the Tab P12 tablet in the EU last month, Lenovo is now set to bring the tablet to the Indian market. Recently, a promotional poster on Flipkart unveiled that the tablet will be available for purchase from 12 PM on September 5.
Although the pricing details for the Indian market remain undisclosed, the Tab P12 is priced at €399 in the EU. Delving into its specifications, the tablet boasts a 12.7-inch LTPS LCD display that offers a resolution of 2944 x 1840, a 60Hz refresh rate, and a pixel density of 273ppi. Audio enthusiasts would be pleased with the Quad JBL speakers. In terms of camera capabilities, the tablet features a 13MP front-facing camera equipped with an RGB sensor and an expansive field of view. On the rear, there's an 8MP autofocus camera complemented by an LED Flash.

Performance-wise, the tablet runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor and uses an Android 13-based operating system. Lenovo commits to two years of OS updates and four years of security patches for this tablet. Potential buyers can choose between two memory configurations: 4GB RAM with 128GB storage or 8GB RAM with either 128GB or 256GB storage. Additionally, the device provides an option for memory expansion via a MicroSD card slot.
The Tab P12 is also equipped with various sensors, such as an accelerometer G sensor, RGB sensor, gyroscope, E-compass, and a hall sensor. Security measures are bolstered with a fingerprint sensor seamlessly integrated into the power button. It supports connectivity through Wi-Fi 6, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth v5.1, alongside a USB Type-C 2.0 port. Powering the tablet is an impressive 10200mAh battery, promising up to 10 hours of video playback. Prospective customers can select from two sophisticated shades: Storm Grey and Oat.
