Apple might be working on a 12.9-inch iPad Air
One of the world's foremost tablet manufacturers, Apple, could be working on a new Air model.
Apple's product release cadence typically features new-generation iPads announced shortly after the iPhones' debut. Fresh insights about the forthcoming iPad Air have emerged, with DigiTimes referencing industry insiders.
Currently, Apple's iPad Air is available exclusively in a 10.9-inch variant. But recent revelations suggest that Apple is actively developing a larger 12.9-inch display for the next iPad Air. If true, this would crown it as the largest iPad Air to date. The size matches the existing 12.9-inch iPad Pro, although the Air model will reportedly maintain its LCD panel, foregoing the mini-LED technology present in the Pro.

In prior disclosures, there were mentions of Apple laboring on dual versions of the iPad Air (6th Gen), with a total of four distinct models split equally between WiFi and Cellular configurations. While the differentiating attributes between these models remain ambiguous, the recent information does hint towards potential variance in screen sizes for the upcoming Air version.
Reflecting on the current fifth-generation iPad Air, which made its debut approximately a year and a half ago, it possesses a 10.9-inch display and operates on an M1 processor. Speculations are rife that the 6th generation iPad Air, featuring an M2 chipset, might see a launch in the upcoming year's initial quarter. Undoubtedly, further specifics about this next-gen tablet will be unveiled in the ensuing months.
