Amazon offers its next-generation children's tablet models for sale

Amazon has expanded its tablet lineup with the introduction of two new 10-inch models under the Fire HD 10 series, tailored specifically for children: the Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids and Fire HD 10 Kids Pro. Both devices present enhanced features designed to fulfill the educational and entertainment needs of their target age groups.

Both the Fire HD 10 Kids and Fire HD 10 Kids Pro serve as upgraded versions of the previous Fire HD 10 tablets, boasting a lighter design and improved performance. The Fire HD 10 Kids is targeted at children aged three to seven, while its Pro counterpart is designed for those aged between six and twelve. Each tablet is equipped with a 10.1-inch, 1080p full HD screen, a 5MP camera, and a memory configuration consisting of 3GB RAM and a minimum of 32GB storage. Notably, these models are approximately 25% faster than the 2021 Fire HD 10 tablet.

A distinctive feature of the Fire HD 10 Kids is its available Disney theme option. Additionally, it comes with a protective padded case and includes a 12-month subscription to Amazon Kids Plus service, offering a range of child-centric apps and content. Prioritizing customer satisfaction, Amazon also guarantees a two-year free replacement policy for these tablets in case of any damage.

Both tablets promise a battery life of up to 13 hours. They will be launched alongside other anticipated Amazon products such as the Echo Pop speakers, new Fire TV, Ring, Blink, and an updated Fire HD 10 tablet. These products mark Amazon's fall product showcase. The Fire HD 10 Kids and Pro tablets are competitively priced at $190 and are set to start shipping on October 18.
