A special keyboard is in development for the popular Honor tablet!
It appears that a special keyboard is being crafted for the Honor Pad X9, developed by Honor and introduced to users earlier this month.
Earlier this month, Honor launched the Pad X9 tablet in the EU and UK. Aimed at meeting multimedia needs at an affordable price, the tablet boasts a bright 11.5” FHD+ IPS LCD with 100% sRGB coverage. A recently spotted TDRA certification suggests that the brand might also be gearing up to release a dedicated keyboard for this tablet.
The TDRA certification refers to the Honor Pad X9 Smart Bluetooth Keyboard, also known as the Eileen-keyboard with registration number ER22349/23. While the listing doesn't provide additional details, Bluetooth connectivity mentioned indicates that the keyboard will likely be wireless and function without needing a physical connection to the tablet.

The Honor Pad X9 features an 11.5-inch FullView Display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2000×1200 pixel resolution, and an impressive 86% screen-to-body ratio. With a thin profile of only 6.9mm and a weight of 495g, the tablet is very portable.
Under its sleek exterior, the Honor Pad X9 is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 SoC, supported by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It distinguishes itself with six speakers, providing a 360° sound experience. A 7250mAh battery powers the tablet, possibly supporting 22.5W fast charging.
The tablet is equipped with a 5MP rear camera and a 5MP front sensor for selfies and video calls. It operates on the latest MagicOS 7.1, based on Android 13, and features intelligent capabilities such as HONOR Connect.
