YouTube Music will overtake its competitors with this feature
YouTube Music will soon offer a long expected feature which will help the application to overtake its competitors.
Podcasts have become very common these days, so much so that they are among the most prominent productions on the platforms. Spotify has a serious podcast audience and now YouTube Music is joining the competition. The company aims to differentiate itself from its competitors by adding podcast productions to its structure.

Start watching a podcast at home, listen during your commute (maybe finish watching at work).
Later this year, creators will be able to upload audio podcasts to YouTube via RSS feeds with tools on YouTube Studio. The spokesperson explained that "podcast playlists will be eligible for current and future podcast features on YouTube, such as eligibility for youtube.com/podcasts, podcast badging, and inclusion in the YouTube Music app."
The feature was highly expected considering that the other music steaming applications have already been offering podcasts for a long time now. YouTube Music is basically preferred for its music sound quality, so also adding podcasts to the platform wil take it to the next step.
