The Xiaomi Pad 5 series of tablets were first introduced by Xiaomi in China last year and later made their global debut in a number of markets. The Xiaomi Pad 5, the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro, and the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 are the three models in the series. There are rumors that the company is working on the Xiaomi Pad 6 series, its next line of tablets.

There have been a few internet rumors about the device thus far, some of which provide information regarding the possible specifications it will come equipped with. After searching through the MIUI codes, Xiaomiui has discovered two upcoming tablets with the codenames pipa and liuqin, as reported in a new report. The reports state that the Xiaomi Pipa and Liuqin will be released as the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, respectively. It is anticipated that the tablets of the Xiaomi Pad 6 series will go on sale in the first half of 2023. However, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro will only be available for purchase in China.
