During a pivotal period in terms of operating system choices, Xiaomi announced its new TV S Pro Mini LED 85 inch model equipped with HyperOS.
Xiaomi has unveiled a range of products at a recent event in China. Not only did the tech giant introduce its new HyperOS, but it also showcased the Xiaomi 14, 14 Pro, Watch S3, and an addition to its TV line-up. Earlier this month, the company launched its TV S Pro in 65 and 75-inch models. Building on that, Xiaomi has now introduced an 85-inch variant of the TV S Pro.
This latest model, the Xiaomi TV S Pro 85, boasts an impressive 85-inch Mini LED display panel. It offers a crystal clear 4K resolution, a peak brightness of 2,400 nits, and a 144Hz refresh rate. In its bid to enhance the viewing experience, the TV has been fitted with 1,440 high-end backlight partitions and a light sensor. This sensor automatically tweaks the brightness based on ambient light. The television doesn't just stop there. It integrates a full-stack color engine, contrast enhancement, color accuracy, dynamic clarity, among other technologies. Furthermore, for enthusiasts of high-quality content, it supports Dolby Vision Atmos and is both HDR10+ and IMAX Enhanced certified.

Sound quality matches its impressive display, with the Xiaomi TV S Pro 85 housing dual 15W stereo speakers, giving a combined audio output of 30W. The far-field voice technology incorporated into the TV ensures users can navigate and control the TV hands-free using voice commands.
From a performance standpoint, it's powered by a quad-core A73 processor, coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage. A noteworthy feature is its ultra-low-latency of 2ms, along with AMD Freesync Premium Pro support. These features, especially the variable refresh rate, make this TV a great choice for gaming and e-sports enthusiasts.
The TV operates on Xiaomi's newly announced HyperOS. For those concerned with connectivity, it offers WiFi 6, two HDMI 2.1 ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, USB 3, USB 2, an Ethernet port, and even an NFC remote control.
As for its pricing, the Xiaomi TV S Pro 85 is priced at CNY 9,999, which is approximately $1,366. Interestingly, early bird customers who pre-order are in for a treat, as they can avail of CNY 2,000 discount coupons. Sales are set to kick off on October 31.
