WhatsApp to offer new mode for Android users
For users of the Android beta program who are using the operating system version 2.23.8.2 or later, the well-known instant messaging network is releasing a new feature of its app. For those who are unaware, the Companion Mode essentially builds on the existing multi-device support. You might add a second smartphone to your WhatsApp account using this feature for easier access to your chats.
Companion Mode, which allows you to connect a second Android smartphone, is currently only available for the Android operating system. Users must install the WhatsApp Messenger or Business beta versions on their backup Android phone in order to test out this feature. The messaging application will offer more with time as the competition gets more fierce.
