WhatsApp is working on a long expected text privacy feature
WhatsApp being one of the most message apps is now getting a new privacy feature.
It appears that WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will enable users to send messages that are automatically deleted when the recipient views them. On the platform's beta version, this feature, which is known as a "view-once" option, is currently being tested. The company came to the fore with many security problems last year, so the platform, which increases its security efforts, is working on new features.

WhatsApp is reportedly testing a new feature called "view-once" that will prevent recipients from copying or forwarding messages they have viewed. This feature will be available for text messages. Additionally, these messages cannot be screenshotted by recipients. The component was spotted on WhatsApp beta 2.22.25.20 for Android.
WhatsApp's other ephemeral messaging feature is the view-once option. Users can already send messages that disappear automatically after a predetermined amount of time on the platform. Individual and group chats can use this feature, which lets messages go away after 24 to 90 days, depending on the user's preferences. Users will have peace of mind knowing that private messages won't be seen by people they didn't intend. However, others may still be able to photograph the message using other methods, so it is not foolproof.
