WhatsApp has been offering advanced features for its users and now screen sharing for video calls is here.
WhatsApp has lost many users last year but the company has started to offer better features to get some of their users back. There were some security concerns regarding the platform before which resulted in badly for WhatsApp, now the company has been offering new and exciting features and one of them is screen sharing in video calls.
WhatsApp introduces screen sharing for video calls
In Windows beta version, WhatsApp, the popular instant messaging platform owned by Meta has added a new screen-sharing feature for video calls. Right now beta testers can share their screen content during video calls. The feature has been in the making for a long time and will add so much character to the platform. WhatsApp although has faced some problems is still by far the most used messaging applications.
Each participant in the video call has the option of sharing either a specific window or their entire screen. Additionally, participants with mobile devices can view the content on the shared screen. Only a select group of beta testers who have downloaded the most recent WhatsApp beta update for Windows from the Microsoft Store are currently able to use the screen-sharing feature.
