WhatsApp introduces individual chat lock feature!
WhatsApp has been offering new updates for a long time and now another feature has arrived.
WhatsApp has had many problems last year with their security features and all, right now company has offered many good features to cover the problem and get its users back. The application will now offer individual chat lock feature.
WhatsApp to offer a new feature as "individual chat lock"
According to WABetaInfo, the function was discovered in the most recent beta of WhatsApp for Android. (v2.23.8.2). Users will be able to lock particular chats and groups on the contact or group information page. A chat that has been locked is moved to that area and can only be accessed with the user's fingerprint or passcode. In addition to that, the function stops media files received in a secured chat from being immediately saved to the device's gallery, guaranteeing that private images and videos are kept out of the public eye. In addition, if a user tries to view a locked conversation without having been properly authenticated, they will be prompted to clear the chat first.
Although there has been no official announcement or release date for WhatsApp, it is probable that the feature will be present in a future version. With the addition of this feature, WhatsApp's security features will now enable users to lock the entire app with biometric authentication.
