Jane Manchun Wong revealed in a tweet that Twitter intends to offer more than ten distinct awards for tweets. The awards will appear to work like those on Reddit, where they can be bought with the site's currency. After purchasing Twitter Awards, individuals can use them to highlight their favorite tweets and generate real-world revenue for the tweet's author.
