Social Blade affirms to being hacked after data breach
Social Blade admitted the recent data breach after the hacker shared the stolen user datas.
Social Blade, one of the most popular solutions for tracking the statistics of social media users, reveals all the data from the number of followers of the accounts to the viewing rates on many platforms from YouTube to Instagram. In this way, while allowing you to see both what is happening and the level that account will reach in the future, Social Blade shocked all users with a confirmed data breach.
It turned out that a hacker infiltrated the database of the website and posted the data he obtained for sale on a forum. Contacting the attacker in question, Social Blade confirmed that the breach included real datas.

While the fact that there is no credit card information among the leaked data gives some relief, however, data such as e-mail and IP address have been leaked.
"On December 14th we were notified of a potential data breach whereby an individual had acquired exports our users database and were attempting to sell it on a hacker forum," reads a data breach notification sent to customers."
"Samples were posted and we verified that they were indeed real. It appears this individual made use of of a vulnerability on our website to gain access to our database." Social Blade Team said.
Notable pieces of breach include email addresses, IP addresses, password hashes, client IDs and tokens for business API users, authentication tokens for linked accounts, and many other non-personal and internal pieces of data.
