HarmonyOS 4 updates continue to reach more devices
Developed by the Chinese tech giant Huawei, the operating system HarmonyOS 4 began to expand to more devices.
Huawei has made significant strides with its latest HarmonyOS 4, which has now been beta tested in China. Astonishingly, in just two weeks following its introduction, over 5 million devices underwent the update. While only a select number of Huawei phones currently run the stable version, the company is diligently refining the beta for broader device compatibility, aiming for more users to eventually transition to a more stable version. Recent developments indicate that the nova 8 series and several tablets have been recipients of the HarmonyOS 4 beta update. These include:
Huawei nova 11 series
Huawei nova 8, nova 8 Pro, nova 8 Pro 4G
Huawei Enjoy 50 Pro, Enjoy 60 Pro, and Enjoy 60
Huawei nova 9 SE, nova 10 SE, and nova 10 Youth
Huawei MatePad variations such as the 11, 11 (2023), Air, Pro (10.8-inches), and Pro (11-inches).
Users can anticipate enhanced visual aesthetics and interactivity with the impending updates. Among the notable features is the flexibility to personalize one's device by setting preferred emojis as wallpapers and tailoring app icons to align with the device's interface. Another addition is the Parental Control feature, designed to enable users, via a Huawei ID, to oversee their child's device use. In a bid to enhance user experience, the new OS will also consolidate notifications from identical apps, thereby providing detailed information without the need to access each notification individually. Also worth mentioning, the Mate 50 and P60 models have successfully transitioned to the stable HarmonyOS 4 update, which is approximately 1.90GB in size.
