Google has Tensor G2 processor which powers the Pixel 7 series of smartphones. The devices were released just a few months ago. Now, information about the Tensor processor of the next generation is being leaked online.
Google>s upcoming tensor is said to be made by Samsung!
According to the most recent development, Google's Tensor G3 processor, codenamed Zuma, will be manufactured exclusively by South Korean tech giant Samsung for the upcoming chipset. In addition to the manufacturer and codename, additional information has surfaced online. The Samsung Exynos 2300 may have been the inspiration for the Tensor G3, according to some reports. The Tensor G3 processor is currently unknown in detail.
In contrast, Samsung has already begun developing its Exynos 2300 chip, even though Qualcomm chips will replace Samsung's Exynos in the upcoming flagship Galaxy S23 lineup. The report also mentions that Samsung may produce the chip with the codename Zuma using the more advanced 3nm process. The current generation of Tensor G2 is constructed with the 5nm node for comparison. Additionally, it has been reported that Google will continue to use the same modem as the one that is currently included in the chipset for the upcoming Tensor processor.
