Google plans to make Android eSIM transfers easier
eSIM is the future and Google has some plans for it. Here are some details.
A number of fundamental changes have been included in Google's most recent Android 13 QPR2 beta update for Pixel devices that are supported. Mishaal Rahman says that one of these changes is a new system property called "euicc.seamless_transfer_enabled_in_non_qs," which could mean that Android will soon be able to transfer eSIMs without any problems.

As I mentioned before, there's an in-development partial screen sharing feature. You'll be able to launch an "app selector" interface from the "Start Recording" dialog that'll look like this.

Android users must currently activate their eSIM profile on their new phone and deactivate their old one. The user may be required to get in touch with their carrier in order to activate the eSIM on their new phone because this process is not seamless. iOS, on the other hand, has a built-in Quick Transfer feature that lets users transfer eSIMs or physical SIM cards from an older iPhone to a new model without having to contact their carrier. It would appear that Google is developing Android-specific functionality based on this iOS feature.
