Chinese tech giant Huawei recently filed a lawsuit against a seller for violating its copyright and sales rights, which cover more than 330,000 units. Zhang Moumou, the seller, was accused of selling counterfeit headphones marketed under the Huawei brand. Zhang Moumou used the Huawei brand name multiple times on the product listing for the earphones, which were not actually made by Huawei, according to court documents. The case's evidence revealed that approximately 330,000 counterfeit Huawei earphones were sold for approximately 4.06 million yuan each. The court ordered Zhang Moumou to pay 403,000 yuan in compensation for economic losses and reasonable expenses, ruling that the use of the Huawei brand name on the product was trademark infringement.
