Elon Musk plans to launch 'TruthGPT' as a rival to OpenAI
Elon Musk announced his plans to create his own artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot called "TruthGPT."
Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, was reportedly enraged when OpenAI unveiled its powerful chatbot, ChatGPT, in November last year. The launch of ChatGPT sparked discussions about its potential as a competitor to Google, which further fueled Musk's anger.
'TruthGPT' could be biggest rival of OpenAI's ChatGPT
Following this, in an interview with Fox News, the billionaire owner of Twitter, Tesla, and SpaceX, Elon Musk, stated that he envisions developing an alternative to OpenAI's ChatGPT, which he intends to establish as 'TruthGPT'. According to Musk, his proposed AI would be focused on seeking maximum truth and understanding the nature of the universe.
Elon Musk has expressed his intention to develop a 'TruthGPT' in response to what he perceives as liberal bias in a widely-used chatbot.
OpenAI was created as an open source (which is why I named it “Open” AI), non-profit company to serve as a counterweight to Google, but now it has become a closed source, maximum-profit company effectively controlled by Microsoft.

Not what I intended at all.
As per a recent report from The Wall Street Journal, Elon Musk has reportedly established a new artificial intelligence (AI) company named X.AI. The company is registered in Nevada, and Musk is currently listed as the sole director.
Before that, Elon Musk's new AI venture has reportedly procured around 10,000 graphics processing units (GPUs). These GPUs are commonly used by technology companies to handle the high computational requirements of advanced AI technologies.
Elon Musk is getting serious for AI ventures
Elon Musk's recent endeavors, including the establishment of X.AI and his plans for developing a "maximum truth-seeking" AI, as mentioned in his vision for an alternative to OpenAI's ChatGPT, highlight his active and thorough preparation for the advancements and implications of AI technology.
