Musk has officially launched xAI, an ambitious initiative aimed at revolutionizing the world of generative artificial intelligence.

In April, Elon Musk orchestrated the merger of Twitter and X Corp, a shell company. Today, the renowned CEO of Tesla and Twitter introduced a dedicated website for xAI. The newly launched platform emphasizes the overarching objective of xAI, which is to gain profound insights into the fundamental essence of the universe.

In an exclusive interview with Tucker Carlson in April 2023, Elon Musk unveiled his vision for AI and emphasized his commitment to developing a generative artificial intelligence model that seeks to comprehend the fundamental nature of the universe while assuring its safety and avoiding any potential harm to humanity.

The team behind xAI comprises a diverse group of experts, hailing from esteemed institutions such as DeepMind, OpenAI, Google Research, Microsoft Research, Tesla, and the University of Toronto. Notably, Musk has already made significant strides in realizing his vision by procuring approximately 10,000 GPUs from NVIDIA, which will be utilized to train a Large Language Model (LLM) modeled after OpenAI's renowned ChatGPT.

A few hours ago, official xAI Twitter account announced an upcoming Twitter space event to introduce deeper insight on xAI too. It will be held on Wednesday.
