Discord users be aware! You have to update this setting
Discord, as being one of the most used applications among young people has now made it a must to update your username.
Discord is highly used among young people, especially people who like to watch things together and play games. The company has basically no rival in its market, yet the company will do some changes now. Discord is making "huge changes" on its platform, as a result you will need to change your username. Company will give everybody a one of a kind username, similar as Twitter, Instagram and different apps.
Discord wants users to change their usernames
In a blog post, co-founder Stanislav Vishnevskiy stated, "The whole point of these changes is that we want to make it a lot easier for you and all the new users coming to Discord to connect and hang out with friends." We are aware that your username and identity are significant, and we are aware that some of you may not agree with this change. Company claims that the current names are too complicated or obscure for people to understand.
The new system will be implemented over "the coming weeks," and you'll receive a message when it's possible to do so. Company will give priority to its old users when choosing their name.
