Apple will release iPadOS 16 on October 24, great improvements on the way!

iPadOS 15 was released in September last year. Carrying intense features, iPadOS 15 allowed some old and new iPad series to access the latest experience from Apple. Now, the tech giant's new operating system is expected for iPad series. The new operating system, launching with the name iPadOS 16 or iPadOS 16.1, will enhance iPad's experiences. Let's check all details known so far. 

iPadOS 16 Will Be Launched With Great Improvements on October 24

When iPadOS 15 was released, it brought great enchancements to iPad series. Now, the same experience will be seen with iPadOS 16. However, it was stated that the new iPadOS could also be released under the name iPadOS 16.1. It was also said that iPadOS 16, introduced last month, will be released for iPads on October 24. New iPads which have been introduced recently will also come with iPadOS 16.

iPadOS 16 New Features

For the first time, Apple's Weather application is finally available on iPad series. This weather app was only available for iPhones. Lock Screen carries new fonts and displays for the date, but it lacks some customization features.

With Passkeys, iPads will be able sign websites using WebAuthin by user's biometrics or passwords. Stage manager has been introduced as a vital feature. It allows iPad series display to support four apps in adjustable windows. However, this feature is special to the iPads carrying Apple A12X Bionic, Apple A12Z Bionic, Apple M1 and Apple M2. Reference mode and Display scaling mode are also shining features from Apple. They offer better display experience.
