Apple's mixed reality headset has been quite expected for a while now and rumors started to show up. The reality headset is going to launch this summer, according to some recent reports, but it looks like Samsung plans to be a strong rival. Apple plans to surpass Samsung in terms of AR headset launch. Both companies are developing their very own augmented reality and virtual reality headsets, and it appears that Apple might release one sooner than the other.

Being rivals in the smartphone market, Samsung and Apple have another target now: AR. Yesterday Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, a well-known insider, said that Apple's next AR/VR headset will be available for purchase sometime in the fall of this year. Ming Chi-Kuo, another expert on Apple, predicted a few days ago that the company would launch its augmented and virtual reality headgear before the end of 2023.

Reports claim that Apple has already tested the prototype hardware with a few developers. However, the product is far from finished just like Samsun's. The schedule was changed because the company had a lot of work to do on the product and many bugs to fix. Virtually no information about the upcoming Samsung AR/VR headset has been leaked yet.
