Apple has proven its 14 Pro's A16 Bionic performance one more time. Here is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 comparision.

Apple iPhone 14 Pro's A16 Bionic has beaten Snapdragon 8 Gen 2!
Apple iPhone 14 Pro's A16 Bionic chipset outperformed the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in the initial GeekBench benchmark results. The Snapdragon SoC received 1483 points in the single core test and 4709 points in the multi core test, according to the synthetic benchmarks. In the meantime, the tests gave the A16 Bionic processor 1874 and 5372 points, respectively.
It's interesting to note that the A15 Bionic chip from the previous generation of iPhones was able to achieve a score of 1709 points in single-core tests, which is also higher than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 score. The claim that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will transform "the landscape of flagship smartphones in 2023" would be called into question as a result of this. Yet this showed clearly that Apple's chips, even those from earlier models, are still quite capable in today's market.
