Apple has authoritatively declared that it is expanding the costs of out-of-guarantee battery substitutions for its gadgets. With the new year coming up new pricing strategies started to show up. Apple users will need to pay more for battery replacements.
iPhone, iPad, and Mac battery replacement costs increased
Apple charges $69 for each iPhone 13 variant in the iPhone X lineup. The battery replacement service costs $49. This includes models that are lower than the iPhone X and those that include the Touch ID button. Yet this price will soon change. Starting on March 1st, all iPhone battery replacements will cost $20. This implies that the assistance will begin from $69 for the iPhone 13 to iPhone X series and $69 for the iPhone 8 and lower gadgets.
The service for MacBook Air models currently costs $129, but it will cost $30 more. The current price of a battery replacement for the MacBook Pro and MacBook Pro variants is $199. This will be increased by $50, to $250. For all iPad models, the out-of-service battery replacement fee will increase by $20. When the battery's health falls below 80%, those with this feature are not required to pay for a new battery. Apple has not stated the primary cause of the price increase.
