Video streaming giant YouTube has now updated its comments section tools to fight spam and bots.
YouTube provided an important update to fight against spam, bots, and abusive language in its most recent blog post. Security and privacy are very important on social media platforms. In this context, the company offers necessary updates to combat bullying and spam in the comments section. According to YouTube's statement, these are the primary concerns of today's content creators, and it prioritized them.

One of the principal changes is the superior spam recognition in the remark area. In the first half of this year, the developer team was able to eliminate 1.1 billion spam comments after diligently working to improve the automated spam detection. YouTube, on the other hand, employs machine-learning models that are able to adapt to spammers and combat them more effectively. Automated detection in the live chat section during live streams is the same.
YouTube is introducing timeouts and a removal warning for offensive comments from actual human users. When a user's comments violate the rules of the community, the system will notify them and remove them. If the same user continues to post abusive comments, they will be banned for 24 hours. Internal testing demonstrates that the implemented systems reduce recidivism.
