YouTube Music employees are on strike
Although we know that Amazon has been having problems with their stuff now YouTube Music employees are also on strike.
We have heard many reports and news regarding Amazon having problems with their stuff being on strike but now more problems have been occuring. Workers at YouTube Music in Austin, Texas, who voted to join a union, are on strike. According to the contractors' union, the Alphabet Works Union-CWA (AWU-CWA), this is the first time a group of Google-affiliated workers has gone on strike.

The over forty striking workers are staffed by Cognizant, an Alphabet subcontractor. Because of their $19-per-hour pay, they claim that Alphabet's current return-to-office date of February 6th puts them in danger and threatens their livelihoods. The strike has gotten attention online as being the first one of Google-affiliated workers.

According to the YouTube employees, Alphabet and Cognizant didn't tell them about their sudden return to power until after they had already voted to join a union.
