WhatsApp groups will be muted by default soon.

WhatsApp, one of the most popular messaging applications in the world, continues to test new features to provide a better experience to its users. It is also clear that WhatsApp does not want its users to be disturbed during the day, so it will offer a new feature that will be for the groups. Here are all the details.

WhatsApp groups will be muted by default

WhatsApp have increased the maximum number of people who can join a single group from 256 to 1024 a few weeks ago. The notifications, on the other hand, are the main drawback of this upgrade.

Your device might be flooded with notifications if you do not manually disable notifications in groups with a large number of active participants. It is also clear this will undoubtedly cause you a great deal of discomfort. However, WhatsApp has developed a solution to tackle this issue.

WhatsApp Group

According to details on WABetaInfo, WhatsApp beta version 2.22.23.9 includes a new feature that mutes groups with more than 256 members by default. The group will be automatically muted when the 257th member joins.

However, only a few beta testers appear to have access to this feature as it's in the beta testing process. We anticipate that this useful feature will soon be included in WhatsApp's stable version for all users around the world.
