Verified accounts on Twitter will have another change
Twitter has been going under so many change ever since Elon Musk's take over, and now more things will change.
Twitter relaunched its confirmation program last May after a break of over three years, yet it was stopped again after Elon Musk took over Twitter. Musk, on the other hand, has stated that Twitter will "tentatively" launch Verified on December 2 and will manually verify each verified account prior to the check's activation.
Verified accounts on Twitter will have another change
Elon, I’m trying. It won’t let me and I’m Verified (need to edit 1 character I can’t spell)

Sorry for the delay, we’re tentatively launching Verified on Friday next week.

Gold check for companies, grey check for government, blue for individuals (celebrity or not) and all verified accounts will be manually authenticated before check activates.
Painful, but necessary.
After Musk's takeover of Twitter, the company began offering the blue check marks to eligible Twitter Blue subscribers without actually verifying identities, which led to verified accounts impersonating well-known brands and celebrities. As a result, manually authenticating verified accounts is definitely a good idea.
In addition to announcing the tentative launch of verification, Musk stated that the three new colors of Twitter check marks—gold, grey, and blue—will be available. Gray for governments, blue for individuals, and gold for businesses. Musk also said that people can now have a secondary, tiny logo that shows they belong to an organization if that organization confirms it. It's not clear whether Twitter will use the same account verification criteria as before or whether it will be updated. On verification, Musk has promised a "longer explanation" next week, so we might get more information.
