Twitter has been going under some changes ever since Elon Musk's takeover, in that sense now Twitter Blue subscription which costs 8 dollars is being rolled out. We will keep what works & change what doesn’t.
The subscription is not available for Android at the time of writing. The subscription prompt lists the additional benefits that Twitter owner and CEO Elon Musk promised would be included in the package as "coming soon". Making the subscription 8 dollars a month raised so many discussions, yet Elon Musk did not give up on his plans about it. Musk has positioned paid account verification as a strategy to make Twitter sustainable and increase trust in the platform since he completed his takeover nearly two weeks ago. However, many were quick to point out that the new Twitter Blue service was likely to have the opposite effect when it first started rolling out on Saturday. This was because almost anyone could pay for verification and then theoretically change their account name to impersonate another user.
