Twitter users are at risk as hackers claim to have data
Twitter, being one of the most used apps has been talked about a lot recently, and now the users are under pressure.
Twitter has been under a lot of pressure with Elon Musk's movements and regulations that he started. Now a hacker has said that hundreds of millions of people who use the platform have private data. The hacker is said, according to a new report, to have illegally obtained sensitive information about 400 million users in 2021.

The data was obtained through the use of an API vulnerability that has since been fixed. The hacker, who goes by the name "Ryushi," has offered Elon Musk and Twitter the opportunity to acquire this information from him for a hefty sum of 200,000 US dollars. They would be subject to an even greater GDPR fine if they refused. “Your best option to avoid paying $276 million USD in GDPR breach fines like Facebook did (due to 533 million users being scraped) is to buy this data exclusively... after that I will delete this thread and will not sell this data again,” Ryushi stated on the Breached hacking forum. He even leaked sample data from over 1,000 users, including several celebrities, to demonstrate this. This data contains touchy information like email addresses, usernames, supporter counts, creation dates, and a few clients' telephone numbers.
