Elon Musk took over Twitter and everything started to change. Especially the Blue verification rules have changed. Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter, has stated that the company will soon remove all previous blue checkmarks from accounts. On a user's Twitter profile, the blue checkmark, also known as the verified badge, is next to their name. It indicates that the account is genuine and belongs to a prominent figure in society, such as a celebrity or public figure.

In a tweet, Musk said that the manner by which the blue looks at were given was "bad and illogical." He didn't go into any more detail about what he meant when he said this or why the company is getting rid of the verified badges.

The blue checkmark will only be displayed for users who subscribe to Twitter Blue, the premium tier of Twitter that provides additional features. Information exchanges for Twitter Blue relaunched on Monday. The level expenses $8 each month for web information exchanges, and $11 each month for iPhone or iPad information exchanges. Android users can register online.
