Twitter claims that bots can access its API for free
Twitter has been announcing new features and updates regarding the current situation.
Twitter has provided more information regarding future API changes that will make it necessary for most developers to pay in order to continue utilizing its developer tools. The business announced that "a new sort of free access" will be available, enabling "Tweet generation of up to 1,500 Tweets per month."
In light of this clarification, many of Twitter's so-called "good" bots, or automated accounts that tweet everything from historical images to practical reminders, will be permitted to continue using the service. The future of these accounts was previously in doubt because several bot developers said they would not pay for API access.
