Twitter Blue subscription is now available on Android devices
Twitter has announced that they are making the Blue subscription avaiable for Android devices as well.
After Elon Musk's take over one of the things that changed on Twitter was Blue subscription. The service has become a paid one and now it is available on Android devices. Just a few days after the social media platform made the announcement of a new payment plan for an annual subscription, Twitter Blue is now available for purchase through the Android app. Like iOS, the magical blue checkmark costs $11 per month, which is more than 35% more than it costs on the web.

Twitter doesn't say why there is such a big price difference, but it is clear that the company wants to charge users for in-app purchases from the Play Store instead of paying for them. Twitter Blue users can edit tweets, have priority in replies, and have a 60-minute limit on video uploads (web-only). In addition, the app can have a different theme, aligned tweets, and custom app icons make bookmarked tweets easier to find. Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States currently offer Twitter Blue.
