Twitter Blue relaunching on Monday at higher price for Apple users

Twitter is relaunching Twitter Blue subscription that created great controversies before. In the statement made on the platform, it was stated that the application will be activated as of December 12. It was announced that a monthly subscription fee of $8 will be charged for the application. For Apple users, the subscription fee will be $11, oddly.

Twitter will relaunch blue tick service tomorrow

Thanks to revamped Twitter Blue, it will be possible to edit the shares, upload high-definition videos and confirm the account with a blue tick. The statement did not provide information about why Apple users are subject to more charges. Earlier comments pointed out that Twitter took such a step because Apple charges apps.

People who want to buy a subscription on the web will be charged $8, and those who want to buy a subscription on iOS will be subject to $11. 

On the other hand, the renewed Twitter Blue will come with some changes. Accounts will be reviewed before they are issued a blue verification checkmark. Moreover, unlike before, changing the user's name, display name, and profile picture will temporarily cause the verified badge to disappear until you verify the profile from the beginning. These requirements are implemented to prevent account mocking and fraud.
