TİkTok is working on a feature that has been long expected
TikTok, being one of the most used social media apps will now offer a new feature that users have been waiting for. Here are the details.
TikTok stated last year that it now has one billion monthly active users worldwide. Right after the app was introduced TikTok has managed to gather great attention and became one of the most used apps ever. Despite this, the ByteDance-owned company has continued to test and introduce new features, some of which place it directly in competition with YouTube. One example is its most recent experiment, which gives select users all over the world access to a horizontal full-screen mode for watching videos on their phones.

Even though TikTok videos are known for being short and vertical, creators still have to include a message that says "turn your phone" at the beginning of their videos even if they were shot in landscape mode. They wouldn't have to do that anymore if the company launched this feature, and other creators might be more likely to make landscape videos. Naturally, a widespread release depends, among other things, on how testers react to the feature. The feature will not create an outstanding difference but many things will change for sure.
